Programs & Services
At Volunteers of America Southwest, our goal is to create safe and productive environments where individuals feel strengthened and human potential is realized. Our Behavioral Health services focus on mental health, public safety, addiction recovery and treatment, and long-term housing.
For 120 years, we have pioneered community-based high-quality, integrated models of care and services that strive to meet the needs of the whole person, family and community. We provide innovative, results-driven Behavioral Health Services to assist those with mental health issues, substance abuse issues and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Volunteers of America Southwest understands that many individuals in southwest California suffer from the disease of addiction, experience mental illness related adversity, and struggle with the difficulties of incarceration. With our multiple programs we seek to provide these individuals with the tools needed for stabilization and help them reach their fullest potential through our Treatment and Rehabilitation Services. Program services include alcohol and drug treatment, public safety, and mental health services.
